Mint Hill, NC

You will find Mint Hill, a suburb of Charlotte, in the Piedmont of North Carolina.  A rural community that is growing but is determined to keep the country atmosphere.  The town is made up of mostly single family homes.  To keep property values from lowering the town decided to have multi-family housing only if it is in a controlled neighborhood and the planning and zoning board approved.  You will also find that this area has a low property tax rates making homes affordable.

With a moderate climate you will find that there are many activities that your family can enjoy.  Mint Hill Athletic Association offers baseball, basketball, cheerleading, football, soccer and softball to boys and girls ages 4 -17.  Rays Splash Planet, a one of a kind water park, aerobics center, and summer camp, is located close by in Charlotte.  There is fishing and horseback riding, many parks and greenways to choose from.  Local restaurant, Mama’s Pizza, an Italian restaurant with authentic New York Pizza and dishes, is just one of many places to dine.  If that is not enough there are sporting events, shopping, and much, much more all in and around town for all of the family.
